St Ignatius College, we join a 450-year tradition of Jesuit education a mission rooted in forming responsible leaders in the world. The Jesuit educational vision is rooted in the spirituality of St Ignatius Loyola, the fifteenth century Spaniard who founded the Society of Jesus.
Our energetic and enthusiastic St. Ignatius leadership comprising of prefects and councilors attended a leadership training workshop from Friday 18 February to Sunday 20 February 2022. The two days saw the students taking introduced to a variety of topics and activities on Ignatian Leadership that included Servant Leadership, Discerning Leaders, Team Building, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Skills among many.
Physical Fitness
The conclusion of the training was celebrated with a visit to Kasisi girls Secondary school where our school leadership interacted with Kasisi leadership team. This was an excellent time for exchange, sharing of experiences, companionship and encouraging ourselves ‘Take the Lead’, through our experiences as student leaders in Catholic Schools and indeed our communities.
