Congratulations Grade 12 Class of 2019

The release of the Grade12 Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) results marks the final formal step of a St Ignatius College student’s educational journey. We celebrate and give thanks for the achievements of each student of the class of 2019.  These academic results combine with the College’s values, Ignatian leadership, spirituality, culture, sport, outdoor education and community service to create the hallmarks of a St Ignatius College education.   

Overall summary of the Grade 12 2019 ECZ results:

  • Candidates: 35
  • Pass rate: 100% 
  • 1 students obtained straight division ones in all subjects 
  • 6 students or 21% of the total candidates obtained 6 points
  • 4 students or 13% of the total candidates obtained 7 points
  • 8 students or 28% of the total candidates obtained 8 points
  • 5 students or 17% of the total candidates obtained 9 points
  • 27 Students or 93% of students obtained points between 6 and 10

The details behind this numbers is that Richard Sampa, who was the Head boy obtained straight ones in all subjects. The following students scored 6 points Amaechiobi Obison, Mulenga Lombe, Mwanza Towani, Kamulete Sipho and Musonda Kenneth

The subjects with the highest quality pass rates are civic education with 31 students, biology with 29 and English with 27 while combined science is 26 students.
